I AM... Frances McStea, Swiss/ Australian/ Irish citizen, (I was born in Melbourne Australia, and have been living in Switzerland since 1990), biology student, currently working on my master thesis on nightingale territorial behaviour (different but cute).
I LOVE... Any time not spent at uni; horseback riding through the Swiss countryside; travelling (last year Paris, the Maldives and Mallorca, and the best of it was the Maldives was a uni field trip, this year Egypt -once for diving and once travelling -, India and hopefully Morocco); hanging out with mates, the Captain & boyfriend Daniel; any crazy idea; summer parties in the garden or by the river (or any party for that matter); going to the cinema; always having exciting plans on the horizon; people with crazy ideas; working as an exhibition hostess (Baselworld 2006!); my Xenopus frogs Londo, G'Kar & Na'Toth; e-mailing with people from all round the world; Christmas!
I DREAM OF... going on a round-the-world-trip (next year would be sooooooooo cool), getting out of biology and into something more people-oriented, spending Christmas in Australia (Christmas party on the beach!?!?)
WHEN I GET ROUND TO WATCHING TV... I love Trek (TOS to DS9, Voyager stinks and Enterprise doubly so), Babylon 5 (the coolest series ever to hit the screen), and Red Dwarf. Honorable mention goes to Stargate, Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica (the new one of course!), Earth: Final Conflict (only season 1), Firefly (you can't take the sky from me!) & Lost. If I'm really bored, I'll watch Andromeda (ok, it's funny and actually has about 5 good episodes), Lexx (freaky, and actually has 1 truly great episode). Or pretty much anything sci-fi.
